Shweta on a Solo Date:A saga
Shweta woke up at 8 in the morning, and while she was idly sun bathing, her mother informed her that she had to go to Police Bazar and buy cake and other confectionaries for Christmas. Shweta corrected her mother by saying " *We* need to go to the market." Her mother then proceeded to correct her and said, "I meant *you only*". Now this was a first. Shweta was never sent alone.
Soon after this conversation, Shweta cooked up a plan and decided to go on a solo date instead, her first.
But this socially awkward introvert who grew up with strict parents and hardly went out, knew only 5 cafes, and well, had already visited them all previously. So like any normal individual who has lived in the city for 22 years, she googled: 'Cafes near me'. Now, now don't judge her. We all know you have done this too, right? π
On completing her short research on the internet, she decided on the cafeπ♀π₯ Smoky Falls Tribe Coffee☕
Now, you already know that her mother wasn't aware that her daughter who was apparently out to run errands, was instead enjoying an extremely overpriced cappuccino and brownies in a cute cozy cafe. Being the loving(possessive) mother she was, she proceeded on to her regular intermittent call to check on Shweta. Mind you, it had just been an hour since Shweta had left the house.π€«
With brownies stuffed in her mouth, she received her mother's alter ego's call, Detective Conan. She enquired her of as to what she was eating and Shweta proceeded to explain her that she was drinking coffee and eating brownies *alone*. Now, guess what her extremely loving mother's next statement was? Come on guess! It's easy! Well she said "Alone? Really!?" Shweta replied "YES! Believe me!" Well, she didn't. π
See at this point, it's normal for Shweta, so don't stress yourself out.
Her parents firmly believed that everytime she went out alone or with her friends, it was a secret escape plan to meet her non-existent boyfriend.
If only someone would tell them that their extremely unskilled daughter doesn't get boys. Her score was at zero bitches π
So inorder to prove her point in like any other healthy mother daughter relationship, she sent her mom a video as proof to show that she was indeed alone π
This was her ootd btwππ♀π§♀
So if you recall again, Shweta was actually out to run errands. I know. I know, that I am emphasising on this again and again, but trust me there is a reason. So after Shweta was done with her exorbitant solo date, her last errand was to buy a carat of eggs. When she reached her locality's general store and asked the price for a carat of egg, she discovered it was Rs.200. Yes, it struck her that while she spent Rs.150 on a cup of coffee, this carat of egg was gonna last her family for atleast a month.
So kids spending money on overpriced coffee for instagram is not a good ideaπ
*THE OVERPRICED COFFEE* ☕
~THE END~
